Training

The HWC offers an array of private lessons to meet your fitness needs. All pricing is quoted on the package, not the participant. Group packages can be divided among two to four participants.

Personal Training 

Team up with a degree-certified personal trainer to help launch you past your barriers toward achieving your ultimate fitness goals.  Your trainer will tailor an exercise program just for you that will maximize your time in the gym. For pricing please call 409.899.7777

Whether you're looking for a one time session to get you started on a new workout regimen, or someone to hold you accountable week after week while challenging you, we have the right personal trainer for you. 

Private Training:  One on one training with a trainer of your choice.  Your trainer will evaluate your current fitness level, tailor an exercise program, and track your progress.

Group Training:  Train as a group with 2 or more people with a trainer of your choice and work together to achieve your ultimate fitness goals.


Pilates & Yoga

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps build flexibility, lean muscles, strength and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips, and back.  It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing to relieve stress and allow adequate oxygen flow to muscles, developing a strong core or center, and improving coordination and balance. Here at HWC we have several reformer pilates machines, cadillac system, and a pedal pilates chair. 

Private Training:  Working one on one with our certified Pilates instructor, you’ll transform the way your body looks, feels, and moves while improving your posture and building core stability.

Yoga focuses on incorporating total body awareness, alignment, breath, and flow.  Yoga is about creating a union with the mind, body, and the spirit.  This is done through the performance of poses or postures, each of which has specific mental and physical benefits.

Private Training:  a one on one personalized yoga lesson with one of our certified pilates instructors will include hands-on adjustments, modified poses and assisted stretching to elevate you mind, body, and spirit.

Group Training:  Bring your Zen self along with some of your friends or family to share the experience of a lifetime.  Group sessions are designed to meet your groups experience and comfort level.  Your instructor will improve your groups flexibility, strength, and focus.

Tennis

Work one-on-one or a small group with the CHRISTUS Health & Wellness Center tennis pro to learn or improve your skills. Lessons are available for all ages and groups up to four people.

Swimming

The CHRISTUS Health & Wellness Center will provide you with a certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructor to help you begin to swim or to become a safer and stronger swimmer. Swim lessons are available for all ages and groups up to four people.

Ballroom Dancing

Private ballroom dance lessons allow you the flexibility to choose exactly what dance you would like to learn and allows you to learn at a much faster rate than group lessons. In private lessons, you set your own pace and receive highly desired individual attention that may be unavailable in group sessions. In a private lesson, you will learn more of the details and technique that will make your dancing spectacular! Ballroom dance styles available for private instruction include: country and western, foxtrot rumba, east coast swing, west coast swing, samba, waltz, cha-cha, mambo, tango, salsa, meringue and the hustle.
