Your kids have a break, so should you
Parents, your kids will be in Summer Break and we understand that can be frustrating to shuffle things around if you're working and/or saving vacation time. We're here to help with that. The best news? You can register your kids for both camp and swim lessons at the same for the same weeks! So they can join the swim lessons group and then go back having fun at Kids’ Camp.
From Monday, June 3rd - Friday, August 2nd from 8A - 5P we're offering a full-week kids camp that includes: swimming in our pools, sports, games, arts & crafts, and much more. Your kids will thank you...and should be worn out and ready for dinner!
This Summer, the CHRISTUS HWC (Wilton P. Hebert Health and Wellness Center) is proud to again offer a week-long, full-day Kids' Day Camp for the youth of the Southeast Texas community. The Kids' Camp program is a fun recreational, motivational and engaging adventure for children ages 5 - 12.

Summer Break Camp sessions are one week in length and structured like a normal day of school with campers moving through our facilities participating in different programs and swimming every other day. The camps will emphasize some core values of our facility: teamwork, communication, sportsmanship, and FUN! All activities have a noncompetitive nature and camp staff will work with campers to improve basic skills and to stay active.
Kids can participate in as many camp weeks as they want, lending flexibility to your busy summer schedule. In addition to entertaining arts and crafts (based on the weekly theme), campers will spend a part of every day playing different sports. Snacks included! Each Friday we wrap up the week with a big event that ties into the theme.
Included in the weekly price are: two snacks daily, as well as an exciting surprise at the end of each week.
Children will need to bring swimwear, towel, and a change of clothes every day. There will be changing times at the indoor pool with a counselor there in case any assistance is needed.
CAMP TIMES:
Drop-Off 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM and a form of identification is required for the designated person at every pick up
Camp 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pick-Up: By 5:30 PM
Weekly Themes:
Kids will create fun, new memories at the HWC Summer Kids Camp. Week-long camps offers full-days of exciting experiences, new friends, and entertaining adventures for kids 5 to 12 years old. Campers will use various parts of the facility including the outdoor amenities and pool(s) to keep them active and busy this summer. We are flexible to your busy summer schedule; therefore kids are allowed to participate in all camps. Along with arts and crafts that relates to the weekly theme, campers will be engaging in creative thinking, problem solving, team building, and enhancing social skills. Another part of everyday is participating in physical active to develop self-confidence. Best of all, snacks will be included.

Week of Color
Get ready for a jam-packed week of vibrant activities! Campers will unleash their creativity through painting, coloring, crafting, and a whole lot more.
Dive into a kaleidoscope of tie-dye, whip up some gooey slime, and witness the mesmerizing glow of lava lamps. It's a week where creativity knows no bounds!
Week 2
June 10th – 14th
Wilderness Week
Get ready for the wildest week of your life at HWC's Kids Camp! Campers will dive into the animal kingdom with a roar! Every day will be a safari of fun and learning, with animal-themed activities that will make their hearts race. From crafting their own animal masks to building their very own bears, and even planting a mini jungle, safari, and a Friday surprise!

Wacky Professors
A thrilling week of science, where our young campers blossom into budding professors. Each day, the campers will embark on a captivating journey, engaging in science-themed activities such as captivating experiments, creative crafts, vibrant paintings, and exhilarating team-building exercises.

Shark Week (WATER WEEK)
Calling all kids campers at HWC for an exciting week ahead! Get ready for Shark week (WATER WEEK) - a whole week packed with water-themed fun, including waterslides and more. Dive into a week filled with water, water, and even more water! Plus, we'll explore some thrilling shark week activities. Don't miss out on all the excitement!
Week 5
July 1st – 3rd
Campers Around the World
($90 member, $110 nonmember)
Even though our week is a little short, HWC is calling all adventurers! Dive into the vibrant culture of Hawaii, explore the romantic streets of France, marvel at the ancient ruins of Greece, soak up the sun in Mexico, and discover the hidden gems of America.
Week 6
July 8th – 12th
Olympics Week
Campers will dive into a thrilling world of sports, honing their skills in basketball, tennis, soccer, and floor hockey. This immersive experience will ignite their passion for the Olympic spirit and prepare them for the excitement of the Summer Olympics in Paris.
Week 7

Dr. Seuss Week
Campers will be thrilled to immerse themselves in a week of captivating Dr. Seuss-inspired adventures, including movies, games, crafts, experiments, parties, and much more!
Week 8
July 22nd – 26th
Pirates and Mermaids
Get ready for a splashing good time at our water-themed camp! Dive into a week of thrilling water adventures, including a slippery slide on that'll send you soaring. Swim alongside our enchanting mermaid and swashbuckling pirate, creating memories that will last a lifetime!
Week 9
July 29th – August 2nd
Superhero
It’s a bird, its a plane, no those are our Super Campers! Come and join us for a super filled week! We will even meet a few superheroes from our own community! On Friday, show us your superhero best!
