Pilates Reformer Instructor
Part-time, approximately 5 hours/week

Lifeguard (part-time)

Looking for a fun part-time job as part of an Aquatics Team? CHRISTUS HWC is hiring Lifeguards to join our team in Beaumont, TX.
Responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all of the aquatic facility members and guests.
Key Accountabilities
Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
Respond appropriately to any emergency.
Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
Attend all required staff meetings and training.
Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.
Maintain a professional attitude.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
What's required:
Lifeguard & CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Red Cross (or willingness to obtain certification) required.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.
Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.

HWC is looking for a Membership Representative to join the team! In this role you will be key point of contact for the community and members at the client's Health and Wellness Center. You will be responsible for providing assistance and service to clients by answering requests, process, and provide information on membership accounts and services offered.

Manager On Duty (on-call)
This is an on-call / substitute position, working on an as needed basis.
HWC is looking a manager on duty to be a part of a collaborative team assisting with the facility oversight alongside the Management Team. At times, serves as acting manager, and will be responsible for the operations of the facility in its entirety including shift accountability.
About the role
HealthFitness is looking for a Shift Manager / Manager on Duty to work on a collaborative team and assist with the fitness center oversight at our on-campus client site in Beaumont, Texas.
This is an on-call / substitute position, working on an as needed basis covering when regular staff members are unable to work.
Serve as manager on duty and be a part of a collaborative team assisting with the facility oversight alongside the Management Team. At times, serves as acting manager, and will be responsible for the operations of the facility in its entirety including shift accountability.
Key Accountabilities
Greeting, checking in, and assisting customers. Provide program information services and membership information. Assists front desk team
Hourly facility walk-thru rounds to assess safety and cleanliness. Periodic inventory checks of recreation, concessions, and proshop equipment and merchandise.
Efficiently responds to client and participant requests, comments, or concerns and brings issues to a timely and appropriate resolution. In an emergency, will lead/manage incidents and complete incident reports as needed.
Maintains and updates participant and facility policies as appropriate. Educates participants on policies and procedures.
Opening and closing duties depending on shift hours.
Helps with all member service desk administration and processes including phones and membership enrollments. Participates in internal programs, special events, and membership drives. Collects membership fees and performs related recordkeeping.

Minimum Requirements

Swim Instructor (part-time)

CHRISTUS HWC is diving into summer and looking for enthusiastic Swim Instructors to join the Aquatics Team!
This part-time role (up to 19 hours/week) is perfect if you love the water, enjoy working with people, and want a fun, active way to boost your income.
Responsible for providing effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons. Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals.
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 17 years old.
Adult & Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
Must have a strong swim background.
Proficiency in all swim strokes.

Summer Youth Camp Counselor
Part-time, 29 hours/week
Camp dates: June 2 - through August 2026, training begins in April
HWC is looking for Youth Camp Counselors to join the team. In this role, you will lead, support, engage, and motivate youth (ages 5-12) in our activity programs. As a part of the Youth Program Staff team, you will have the opportunity to help develop youth programs and to lead and mentor program participants.
This is a temporary, part-time position working approximately 29 hours per week.
Shifts will be 7:15am-6pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Responsible for leading, supporting, engaging, and motivating youth in activity programs. Will assist in developing youth programs and leading and mentoring program participants.
Key Accountabilities
Enthusiastically lead and support participants through program activities.
Monitor participants to ensure compliance with rules, prevent accidents, and identify inappropriate behaviors.
Proactively address and deescalate inappropriate behavior.
Provide corrective direction to help participants learn appropriate actions and to make positive behavioral choices.
Work with program coordinator and program staff to plan and coordinate activities.
Maintain, clean and ensure proper use of facilities and equipment.
Supervise children ranging from ages [insert age range if applicable].
Clean up after the children every shift.
Play games and other activities with the children.
Make sure the children are checked in and out by parents.
Nurture sharing, sportsmanship and other social skills.
Escort the children to the playground and ball fields.
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old.
HS Diploma/GED required.
Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Council or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to the start of camp
Robust ability to actively lead and engage youth.
Strong verbal communication skills with both children and adults.
Active listing skills and ability to relate to and provide fun, engaging, safe activities for youth of different backgrounds.

Child Care Attendant
Schedule will be one of the following shifts:
MWTH 8am - 1:30pm
M-F, 12pm-4pm
TTH, 4pm - 8pm
Responsible for safe and fun play with children who are in the facility.
Key Accountabilities
Greeting each parent, interacting with parents, and following up the needs of the child.
Planning of activities for the children and assisting with stimulating and age appropriate games and tasks.
Observe and play with children.
Ensuring that the children in their care are safe and engaged in developmental activities.
Participate in child’s activities: reading, painting, crafts, play.
Sanitize toys and play equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Child/Infant CPR/AED/first aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
Knowledge and experience with young children is strongly preferred.
Experience in customer service preferred.
